Study Technical Industrial Engineering. Speciality: Electronics in Comillas Pontifical University - ICAI (Madrid)

The Technical Industrial Engineer is the most successful engineer in Spain; in fact, approximately half of all Spanish technical engineers are specialised in industrial engineering. The reasons for their professional success are its generalist approach (mathematics, physics and other essential subject matter), and the in-depth knowledge it provides in the area of specialisation (mechanics, electricity, or Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering). Moreover, an ICAI Technical Industrial Engineer, thanks to his capacity of adaptation and work, also has access to managerial posts or successfully carries out jobs in other specialised areas.

An ICAI technical industrial engineer is a specialist who is in high demand among companies. He is capable of carrying out many kinds of jobs within the areas of technical development: elaboration and execution of projects, supervision of manufacturing and production, evaluation and appraisal work, etc.

ICAI offers three three-year degrees in Technical Industrial Engineering: Electricity, Electronics and Mechanics. The first year of studies is the same in all three degrees, which allows a student to choose his speciality at the start of his second year. The degree programmes have been designed to enable students to develop the skills and abilities they will need as technical industrial engineers In spite of the traditionally high academic demands of ICAI studies, the students' performance is very high, with a very low drop out rate and an average duration of 4 years (Including the Final Year Project). Throughout their studies the students receive the constant guidance and support of teachers and tutors.
