Comillas is a church university which has been directed for more than a century by the Compañia de Jesús [Society of Jesus] which is the private institution which has the highest number of universities in the world. When designing our university mission we have always succeeded in combining the education experience provided by our tradition with the continuous updating that social changes demand. Open to society, we are convinced today more than ever the communication between university and society has to be permanent and intense. We therefore offer a university education that is characterised by academic rigour, personalised care for each student and advanced social awareness.

Our university offers quality, both educational quality and human qualities. Comillas wants to contribute, from the perspective of Christian humanism, scientific innovation and a critical sense, to our community being ever more developed, more just and more fraternal.
